Eric R. Branson, SPHR
Eric Branson, Principal and Founder of Eric Branson and Associates has over fourteen years of Human Resources experience.
He began his HR career with Omega Cabinets Ltd., a custom kitchen and bathroom cabinet manufacturer in Waterloo, Iowa. As their Human Resource Manager he helped to lead the company through a time of phenomenal growth increasing staff from 220 employees to over 680 in just five years. He provided leadership to the company’s Human Resource department including directing the areas of training and safety along with administering the employee benefits program.
In 1995, Eric joined First Citizens National Bank, an independent community bank with twelve locations throughout north central Iowa, headquartered in Mason City, Iowa. During his tenure there he established a uniform compensation system, a performance management plan and installed their first Human Resource Information System.
Eric is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and has served in many leadership roles including the State Director for Iowa in 2002 & 2003.
In 1995, Eric was recognized as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Human Resources Certification Institute.
Eric has presented on Human Resource issues before groups including the Iowa Bankers Association, North Iowa Area Community College and the Iowa Society for Human Resource Management.
Eric is a community volunteer, working with youth in recreational and scouting programs. He assists and gives leadership to many projects that support education. He serves on the board or directors for the Winnebago Council of Boy Scouts, the United Way of North Central Iowa and the Stebens Childrens Theatre.
Eric earned his Bachelors of Arts Degree in Business Administration/Business Education from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. |
